Graphic Design for One Africa! One Nation! Farmers Market
The One Africa! One Nation! Farmers Market seeks graphic design volunteers to help us promote our organization through social media, printed flyers and posters. This is an excellent opportunity to donate your skills to the African working class struggle to address health disparities, end food apartheid and build economic independence. This can be a remote role.
Responsibilities:
Create flyers, posters, banners and social media images for events and campaigns, in adherence to deadlines and our style guidelines.
Work closely with the Promotions/Outreach team to design graphics according to content calendar and event timelines.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Proficient in graphic design tools, specifically Adobe CS (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, dreamweaver) and other design software

There are multiple roles and volunteer positions for the day of the market. We have set up and break down teams, logistics, assisting vendors, giving out information, helping with sales, kid/youth activities, assisting with workshops and many other opportunities. The market is a lot of fun and you get to see how a farmers market operates.

Phone Bank for the One Africa! One Nation! Farmers Market
If you like talking and like talking to people, this is for you! Use your skills while making a difference reaching out to the people as a phone banker volunteer!
This job entails talking to people using phone bank scripts, maintaining detailed notes regarding each call made. There will be training, phone-banking meetings and summations so we can see how effective our phone calls are. May also be tasked with reaching out by email. Training available if necessary.
